The energy those 97 guys brought back last night. That enthusiasm. That toughness. It's what we are lacking in a head coach and thus in our entire program. This Mr. Rogers stuff has got to go.
The only way to bring that energy and passion back will be to get Frost. If anyone on this thread thinks there is a better guy to get us back to that level, you're sadly mistaken. No veteran HC with championship credentials is coming to Neb. The new AD needs to realize this. My worry is they will not. Any coach besides Frost gets this job in Jan (and it WILL open) and the program will be officially dead. Only a Nebraska guy can sell this place. Only someone who has experienced it. An outsider just won't be able to get it done. Big Bob Stoops, Les Miles, whoever. These guys ain't coming here. We need Frost and we need him this year. Like Damon said he has better options peaking in on the horizon. Don't blow it Nebraska.
