Carriker was the first that came to my mind. He was the DE version of Suh before Suh. Carriker could pretty much occupy an entire side of the OL and it really freed up our LBs. Made Cosgrove look good in 2006.

Then he was drafted by the Rams, moved to NT, and ended up with a bunch of injuries.

But as a college DL, Carriker was a defensive coordinator's wet dream (until Suh came along).
