Several to choose from but I have always liked Doug Colman. What a monster at LB!
I'll go back a ways and take Maury Damkroger, but Colman is a good pick too.
Chad Daffer was also a pretty good LB and Tony Felici was an undersized but ferocious DE.
Don’t recall Chad Daffer but Felici should be mentioned..
Damkoger and Colman would be my top two..
Doug Colman was who popped in my mind.
Academic All-American LB Brian Shaw
WR Sam Burtch had a promising start to his career before injury.
LB/Human Penalty Eric Martin for his contributions to Ed Cunningham. Okay, that's not completely fair to Eric, he was a really good player. 2 blocked kicks as a freshman and 18 TFL as a senior.
Bill Bomberger! Coolest name to ever wear #46
Yes Felici, believe he was all conference a couple of times.
Damkroger was the guy that came to my mind but don't ask me why I knew that was his number. Colman was a stud too.
Daffer was from Nebraska City. I think TO stumbled upon him when he was scouting Kaz.
Felici, Colman, Damkroger, Martin, Shaw, Daffer were all solid, but I’ll put Felici as my choice for top #46.
He was part of that great 82 defense. That team goes down to me as the most underrated husker team of all time.
