Truthfully, that's not their job. No reason athlete's can't keep their locker room clean and pick up their crap off the plane. No pride. Have to pull the Cleveland Indians "Major league" on them
Point is you either pay someone to clean up or you do it yourself. Either way, it gets done somehow. Sounds like the program was led by a dirty.

The NU athletic department is bloated, and it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if Moos decided to clean house. There are people who have managed to hang around collecting huge salaries, who do essentially nothing. It has been run like a country club too long. Start with Chris Anderson.
people complain about the government and the education side of universities and every other organization around but college athletics is one of the most embarrassing uses of billions of dollars that will ever exist.

Revenue from tv may just take care of a lot of the excess in big time college football. As the
numbers of consumers bail out of cable, dish, direct tv & alternatives appear in the marketplace,
$s from ESPN & others will dramatically decline.
A lot of our $51 mil from the BIG is from ad revenue from tv, either the BTN or major networks.
This source will be at risk going forward according to current trends of consumers bailing out
on premium content.
Since NU has most of the facilities upgraded to country club levels, why not give back to the university
in big time levels to help regular students deal with the high cost of higher education? Certainly the payroll at our athletic program is very bloated & needs serious review for cuts.
