We've seen all the 3-4 posts about Diaco's system. The big thing I'm wondering is not whether we have the LBs (we do) to run it. But instead what about the 3-4 DEs and NTs? (Sorry if someone already posted a thread on this ... I didn't take the time to look through all the threads.)
Can the Davis twins be sturdy 3-4 DEs instead of DTs? They are certainly athletic enough. Or do they bulk up a little and be super disruptive NTs? What about Mick?
I think this move is great for Freedom, Neal, Natter, etc ... Seeing as none of them are speed ends, this could be great to showcase their skills.
If anything, I see us having too many 3-4 DEs and no one who fits the NT position of the DLine.
Recruit-wise, Shelvin would be a starting NT from day one, frankly Daniel or Thomas could fit that position very well from day one as well.
What are your thoughts?
