Yeah, what I took from that was Tommy getting tired of him in his backfield.Am I the only one who thought it wasn't targeting? Terrible acting job by Tommy as well, lol. He won't be winning any Oscars anytime soon.
I didn't think it was targeting either. But it's hilarious to listen to the guy who's never ever ever seen a targeting call he didn't like, blather on about how this one should be overturned.Am I the only one who thought it wasn't targeting? ^^^ THIS ^^^I didn't think it was targeting either. But it's hilarious to listen to the guy who's never ever ever seen a targeting call he didn't like, blather on about how this one should be overturned.
It was forcible contact to the head or neck area, it says area not necessarily directly to that spot, should have been targeting (guarantee it would have been upheld if Nebraska was on defense) .Yeah, what I took from that was Tommy getting tired of him in his backfield.

Ed blatantly roots for the other team, I think that sucks. That's why I watched the game in silence.I didn't think it was targeting either. But it's hilarious to listen to the guy who's never ever ever seen a targeting call he didn't like, blather on about how this one should be overturned.
IT'S ALL ABOUT ED THE STUPID SAYING A TARGTING CALL SHOULD BE REVERSED. NOT THE CALL ITSELF.I will say this: I would be PISSED if that was a Nebraska DL making that hit and got called for targeting.
Also, they clarified the rule to include any part of the helmet above the face mask as part of the crown, so definitely should have counted as crown.Looked up the rule:
Targeting and Initiating Contact With the Crown of the Helmet (Rule 9-1-3)
No player shall target and initiate contact against an opponent with the crown (top) of his helmet. When in question, it is a foul.
So, by letter of the law I think it is a foul
Tommie's receivers bailed him out quite a bit today, missed some wide open throws. After he got us the lead.
Why? Finally, some nasty linemen.Make Gates sit the bench.
Couldn't care less about the penalties. Refs were horrible all game, so I just ignore the bulls**t they come up with to call.Fewer penalties, please. I wish we were more businesslike. Long on attitude and short on discipline too much of the time.
Nasty? You mean stupid. How in the world can you see it any other way is beyond me.Why? Finally, some nasty linemen.
With these morons in the zebra stripes, I was expecting them to invent some penalty to call on that sack.Ross Dzuris... Yeah!!!!!
Maybe it was stupid, but you can only take getting hosed by the zebra striped morons for so long.Nasty? You mean stupid. How in the world can you see it any other way is beyond me.
F that. These refs blow
All of this. ^I didn't think it was targeting either. But it's hilarious to listen to the guy who's never ever ever seen a targeting call he didn't like, blather on about how this one should be overturned.
He should have won a minimum of 10 games last year and should be 7-0 this year. I don't know what in hell you're talking about.
You're not very intelligent are you? Poor lady, I hate to tell you but there's no cure for that! You're on drugs. There is a reason he will be on the short list for coach of the year.
