This is why recruiting and proper talent evaluation is so critical. Bo f_cked the pooch for the first 5 years, sitting on his ass fishing or playing golf during hte summer instead of getting after it. The 2011 and 2012 class should be the heart of this team. They had a combined 35 players of those 18 are no longer on campus and the 17 in Lincoln are the likes of GMP, Sterup, Jackson (injuries), Cotton, Thurston and Whitaker.
Those 2 classes are contributing 10 players (including Mr Concrete Feet) and the studs are Valentine, Westerkamp and TA. If your "BEST" players are those three, you're not going to have many difference makers. LOVE JW to death, but he's not Cooper/White/Carroo/Parker. TA is fine, Valentine is good for 35 snaps a game it feels like.
