I'll keep posting the pregame info, but won't be able to post updates (as will be the case with most games). Look forward to reading commentary when I get a chance!

Royals and Dodgers currently in the 8th inning, our game will start late.

Won't start until 45 minutes after the conclusion of that game. Royals (home team) currently leading in B8, so hopefully their lead will hold up and there won't be a B9.

Former Husker Cody Asche in the lineup for KC.

Fisher wasn't used last night and Engelken is available today. Sounds like only Matt Waldron and Paul Tillotson are not available among the healthy bullpen arms.

2B Madrigal out for Oregon State with a HBP on the hand. Will be out for an extended period.

Madrigal on the season: .560 BA, .593 OBP, .880 SLG, 2 HR, 8 RBI, 3 SB

All-American candidate and last season's Pac-12 Defensive POY

Ouch, not a good thing for them. Glad to hear about DH but hate seeing players get hurt regardless even though it is part of the game.

KC wins 8-4 over Dodgers.

One more: We'll be in this Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge again next year with Oregon State, not sure who the other teams are.
