Ohio State also was there for a few years.2 Questions, why do we always seem too land Oregon St in the B1G/ PAC 12 challenge?
And who from the B1G play any of the PAC 12 teams?
Ohio State also was there for a few years.
On the PAC-12 side, it's been Oregon State and either Utah or Washington State.
This season is the last year of Nebraska's contractual involvement (I want to say it was a 4- or 5-year contract), we'll see what happens in the future.
This season that is the case. In prior years it was two teams from each conference, and each Big Ten team would play each PAC-12 team twice. So only 2 teams are at the sight? Wouldn’t be better if there where 4 teams so you don’t have to play all 4 games and against the same team?
That’s what I thought..This season that is the case. In prior years it was two from each conference, and each Big Ten team would play each PAC-12 team twice.
I'm guessing the "Big Ten/PAC-12 Challenge" won't continue after this season.
I just now finished. Ugh, this winter is giving me a workout. Was hoping to come back in and see us winning but I guess a 5-3 game with a runner on 2nd isn’t bad.Took my frustrations out on shoveling the snow this morning
Hopefully the team takes out some frustrations today too.
Let's go RED!!!
Sharpe just mentioned on the radio broadcast that it was supposed to be a 4-team event this year, but Ohio State and Utah chose not to participate. That’s what I thought..
Do you know the reason why OSU was the home team all four games? Seemed odd since it was at a neutral site. Not that it made a difference in any of the games by any means.Sharpe just mentioned on the radio broadcast that it was supposed to be a 4-team event this year, but Ohio State and Utah chose not to participate.
Also, I was wrong on the duration. Turns out this was just the third season for this particular event (and will be the last). I may have been mistaking other early-season Arizona trips with Erstad's ties to the Angels and this event.
