The same two pitchers as Game 1 on 27 March will be starting tonight.

Schreiber will hit in the leadoff position for the first time in his career.

Alvarado will make his first plate appearance in over a month.

Michael Emodi is not in the lineup for Creighton tonight.

Today is Alvarado's first start in the field and first plate appearance since 13 March against Northern Colorado when he started at 1B and went 1/3 with a walk. Alvarado's other field appearances were 04 March at Wichita State (0/5, 3 K) and 25 Feb vs. Utah in Surprise, AZ (2/5, 1R). Both of those were at 1B as well. This is his first appearance not at SP or 1B.

Brinkman was the National Player of the Week, hitting 4 HRs against Xavier and 8 RBI on the week. He went 4/4 on Sunday.

Not only does Roskam make the error he doesn’t even get back to the bag to keep the runner at 2nd. Inexcusable play.

Not a good start. I won't be able to provide updates (at least for a while), at least the live stats are active tonight.

It’s on tv. I’m supposedly playing in an old man softball game tonight assuming they don’t cancel on account of rain. I’ll throw some highlights out every now and the. We’re down 2-0 heading into the top of the 2nd if anyone is curious.

3-run HR by Wilkining. Could have been a grand slam if not for Repinski trying to take the extra base.

10-4 Creighton, B5

Bases were loaded twice in T7, but somehow we get out of it without giving up any runs.

11-4 Jays, M7

Ben Klenke makes his first collegiate pitching appearance and sits down the Jays 1-2-3

11-7 Jays, M8

Klenke looked good actually. Mojo hits into a 6-3 DP. Schreiber up with 2 outs and a runner in 3rd

Altavilla makes a bad choice and swings at 2-0 pitch to end he inning. Heading into the 9th 11-9 bad guys.

A sac bunt and a couple WP’s gives Creighton a 12-9 lead heading into the bottom of the 9th.

3 up 3 down to end the game. CU wins 12-9. Their first win at Nebraska since 2010 and their first series win against Nebraska since 2010.
