Both Fields and Lawrence return to their respective programs with junior status, but Fields (+175) boasts the early edge in the Heisman odds over Lawrence (+430).

Beyond the favorites in Fields and Lawrence, Nebraska QB Adrian Martinez and Oklahoma's highly-touted rising sophomore QB Spencer Rattler are tied at +1200 for the third-best Heisman odds.

Further more where was Joe Burrow last year at this time on these odds of winning the Heisman?

How is this possible? I’ve never seen anyone win the heisman from the bench. Everyone knows McCaffrey is gonna start as long as Frost has a legitimate QB competition.

I think Trevor Lawrence had a bit of an Adrian Martinez Sophomore Slump this year. A little bit of overconfidence, a little bit of not pulling it down and running (maybe starting to look ahead to the NFL?) and it made them less effective.

That is so dumb, he had a terrible season and showed no signs of being even close to Heisman caliber
It's not dumb, its just odds. He's still looked at as an EXTREME long shot, so don't focus on him being the 3rd or 4th name mentioned. It's just a reflection of him being experienced and playing for a coach and a system with a reputation for big offensive numbers. None of the names behind him will knock your socks off, so it makes sense to me if you're not already biased against him.

He was 200/1. Here is a story about a fan that won $10K betting on him and then donated a portion.

That’s really cool of a fan to donate part of his money. The other day, I saw a mother of 5 crying with her children outside the supermarket. She had just lost $300, which was the only money to spend on food for the week. So I gave her $50. Figured considering I had just found $300 in the supermarket parking lot, it was the least I could do.

Is that Bovada or Sportsbook? I'm guessing Bovada because they try and play gullible Nebraska fans like a drum. I ain't playing that game!

Nope, totally wrong. HCSF will rightly choose the winner.

A healthy AMart is a damn dangerous qb running & throwing the ball. He also has way, wayyyyy more experience. Yes, McCaffrey is also very dangerous running & throwing. It'll be an awesome show-down between those two. We'll see.....the best man gets it.

I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic in that post.

Then I most sincerely apologize. So very sorry!
No worries. Just parroting what I see on this board. :)

Thank you for being so kind despite my mindless action. Some day I'll buy you a beer!
You and I are good. If our paths cross, I’ll gladly shoot the breeze with you over a beer. Now we just need to start winning... :)

now i'm going to confess how sorry i am for taking 5 minutes and reading this mindless dribble. sincerely and yours truely

Link your source OP. Every article I'm seeing has AM 4th @ 1500/1600 to 1.

Seems there are no good RBs projected?

McCaffrey was good, but Frost is the one at practice; we aren't. I have no reason to think that he hasn't had a legitimate QB competition, or won't have one in 2020.

As was already established earlier in this thread, I was being facetious.

I'd be surprised if Fields didn't win the Heisman next year. That dude was incredible in his first year starting and split votes with Chase Young (gone) and JK Dobbins (gone). He's a beast.
