His sophomore form was pretty damn good also. He was team USA's pitcher of the summer as a starter.
I may be thinking of someone else. Thanks for clarifying. Who was the pitcher they had that digressed greatly? Unless it was a different team all together.

That's good news for Minnesota.
Because the last time the Huskers saw Meyer...
was Meyer's last 2019 B1G appearance,
in the 2019 B1G Tournament,
and we just remember Meyer losing that night.

Huskers have faced Meyer 2, possibly 3 times in his B1G career, so far.
We've seen his good and bad.
Minnesota needs the good Meyer to show up.
B1G Baseball needs Minnesota to keep representing.

I agree with you. I almost think Meyer may have hit the wall last year, a lot more innings than he was used to throwing.
 
I'm just jealous the Gophers get use of US Bank again.
If only they made the field look a little more baseball-ish.
Really felt that was an advantage for 2018 Minnesota.

Maybe one of these years, the Huskers can get invited
to one of those B1G Challenges hosted there.
