In case anyone cares - I've put together a brief summary on where the 2017 roster comes from:
California - 11 (including walkons); average state ranking (based on 247 composite) of scholarship players is around 28
Colorado - 6; average state ranking of around 2
Florida - 9; average state ranking of around 142
Louisiana - 7; average state ranking of around 50
Missouri - 8; average state ranking of around 7
Nebraska - around 50 (difficult to project walkons who stick with it)
Texas - 8; average state ranking of around 88
Other notable states: Illinois (4); Iowa (3); Ohio (2); and Oklahoma (2)
The quality out of California is mind blowing compared to Florida and Texas. I know we missed out on a couple big ones but you have to give the staff credit for getting some great talent out of that state.
