After getting his latest ACT score up to a 23, 2015 Millard North linebacker Addrell Taylor has officially picked up a scholarship offer from Ohio and is very close to signing a letter of intent there.
"He visited there last week over spring break and they just sent me the paperwork to have him sign," Mustang head coach Fred Petito said. "They really like him and they were just waiting on his test score."
Teams like North Dakota State and Missouri State also showed late interest, but Frank Solich and Jimmy Burrow at Ohio made it clear Taylor is a priority. As a senior the 6-foot-1, 205 pound Taylor was an All-Nebraska linebacker and he'll play in the Shrine Bowl this June. The last Millard North player to sign with Ohio was DB Devin Bass, who is considered one of the top cornerbacks in the MAC now.
