We won't be seeing many (if any) regular weekend bullpen arms tonight. Making the conference tournament is what is important at this stage with this team.

Erstad mentioned he might put guys on the mound who haven't pitched yet this season. Yikes.

Wow, UNO brings in a relief pitcher who has not pitched this season after an injury to their starter, and he strikes out the side.

Interesting inning for Abrahamowicz: 3 K, 2 HBP. But no runs, so I'll take it!

Hellstrom records his first career stolen base... standing up. Strange play.

Erstad looked as if Hellstrom wasn't supposed to steal.

Another hit batter, at least the 5th of the night, loads the bases. Still 1 out.

Embarrassing.

I've been following Husker baseball for over 15 years-we may be reaching the low point. This team is beyond pathetic.
Welp that’s baseball folks. It will humble you. Just have to learn how to grind. In the offseason it will be all well as Erstdud will talk about all the changes forthcoming, talks CWS being the goal, and name drop Osborne a few times.

Nolan Hakel to pitch for the first time this season.

At some point, one of the regular relievers will just need to come in to... well... try to finish this game.

Not that I had any expectations for the team at this point, but this pretty much assures that I will completely check out for the rest of the season.
