agree .. I haven't gone back and looked but has any currently ranked team lost a game by 59 or more points?

LSU at 6-4 is still ranked? Playing a tougher schedule should help in the end, but you have to win the tough games. 40% of the teams LSU plays have beat them. Can you imagine how many National Championships Nebraska would have if losing to Oklahoma didn't count.
