#15 Michigan enters the vault as 1.5 point favorites

It will be a blow out if Berke doesn’t play. Two very talented big men where as we have none.

Agree, how much Berke can contribute tonight will determine if we can stick with them for 40 minutes.
1. Morgan is a better post move guy
2. Meah is better at keeping guards from driving

Berke is better at everything else. Berke makes the team better ar rebounding. It is all about spacing

Wonder if Fred will take a look at BJ Freeman, the guard dismissed by Arizona State last week. Big-time talent. Definitely some baggage and red flags, though sometimes players act like a-holes because they’re playing for one.

I see the line flipped to Michigan -1.5; wonder if that means Berke is not playing…

Major opportunity for NU tonight. Not really a must win, but a W means you can write NU’s name down in the field in ink.

A loss means Minnesota and Iowa are “Must” wins.

N Colorado once again looks like a program worth raiding this offseason, as well.

Interesting for sure. Fred's first year as head coach at ISU he took in a guy named Kane that no one else wanted to touch. Had a lot of baggage but somehow Fred got him on the right path and carried the team. Unfortunately Fred has had a few come to Lincoln that haven't worked out very well.

Yes, and Tad Boyle seems to think he's showing loyalty to UNC by letting all the good players go elsewhere.
Kind of wonder how much longer his leash will be in Boulder

Total flop this season

Yeah, as long as this guy isn't a Teddy Allen level d-bag, maybe take a look!

Fred has stayed away from those type of players the last two cycles. I would imagine getting burned his first few years here had him gun shy. He needs to try again. This team this year was not very athletic.

My guess - very long. The Denver media adore Teflon Tad. He never gets criticized for anything.

The really goofy thing about this year's Buffs is that Boyle decided to move on from three decent players - Lampkin, Hadley and O'Brien, all of whom ended up playing elsewhere. Then instead of giving those minutes to young guys, Boyle replaces them with grad transfers who are not nearly as good.

I haven't followed Michigan very close other than to notice what a huge turnaround May has accomplished there in one season. Did he overhaul the roster, or is he doing this with alot of kids Howard left behind?

I don't think you're allowed to ask these questions

It was a complete roster overhaul via the portal. Their top 5 scorers, rebounders and assists leaders are all transfers. Danny Wolf, who will probably bend us over hard tonight, transferred from Yale and entered the portal with a "do not contact" label. That means he had a deal worked out already with the Michigan tampering machine.

Burnett and Tschetter are the only holdovers. One interesting thing about them is that they’re very good in close games. Not overly athletic, but the two big guys are solid.

Yeah, I was wrong about my "top 5" statement above, Burnett is their 5th leading scorer but they're pretty balanced after the two big guys. Plus they've got Scottie Pippen's kid!

Nobody cheats as well as blue. As least they win while cheating ..
