10 May 2019 Game 43: Arizona State at Nebraseball (ASU wins 15-6)

No Acker this weekend (Family Obligation) and possibly without Schwellenbach (injured Ankle). Oh boy...

I can try to tackle updates.

Quite the difference in talent, approach, and discipline on display right now.

Erstad is probably confused as to why Arizona St is trying for extra base hits.

On a side note, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an umpire so slow to make strike calls. The ASU catcher double-clutched the throw to third on the Hellstrom strikeout because he wasn’t sure it was actually called a strike. Maddening.

Well, it counts the same as a one-run loss, but it’s likely Husker hitters will arrive at the ballpark tomorrow feeling like they will need to score in the teens to win. And that won’t be good.
