Arizona St has one player with as many home runs as the entire Nebraska team.

    So there’s that.

Quite the difference in talent, approach, and discipline on display right now.

Erstad is probably confused as to why Arizona St is trying for extra base hits.

    Hellstrom ꓘ (I found a backwards K character)
    Henwood fly out to left
    Hallmark ground out to shortstop

    6-2 ASU

On a side note, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an umpire so slow to make strike calls. The ASU catcher double-clutched the throw to third on the Hellstrom strikeout because he wasn’t sure it was actually called a strike. Maddening.

Kudos to the staff for not knowing what to do with Luensmann after an all-american caliber freshman year as a closer o_O

Well, it counts the same as a one-run loss, but it’s likely Husker hitters will arrive at the ballpark tomorrow feeling like they will need to score in the teens to win. And that won’t be good.
