By my count, this marks the first time Nebraska has had identical lineups in consecutive games this season.
Nebraska did have identical position designations on 31 March and 01 April at Ohio State, but Altavilla and Repinski swapped spots in the order.

1-out HBP is erased by a 3-6-3 DP!!!

0-0 M2

This game is moving along a lot faster than yesterday's. 18 minutes for 1.5 innings vs. about 80 minutes yesterday.

Leadoff single by Morris is doubled off on a laser by Bendar into Roskam's glove.
Hallmark makes a running catch to end the top half.

0-0 M3

Solo HR by Schreiber!!!

Bloom had retired the first 10 batters of the game.

1-0 Nebraska, B4 1 out

Schreiber is tied with Alex Gordon for 4th on the Nebraska Career HR chart, 2 behind Dan Johnson.
Schreiber has passed Michael Pritchard for 5th on the Nebraska Career Hits list. Darin Erstad is 4th.

2-out single by Roskam and walk by Hellstrom are stranded by an Altavilla G4.

1-0 Nebraska, E4

That HR hit by Schreiber was literally him just trying to get the bat on the ball to extend the at bat. Dude has some power in even his basic swings.

They were commenting on the radio about how it's difficult to compare current hitters against records set in the Gorilla Ball Era when guys could get jammed inside and still easily knock it out. Schreiber has a ton of power.

They also played an interview in the pregame with Hallmark. He said he was fooled by the pitch that he ended up hitting a HR off the foul pole.

1-out singles by Jancarski and Wright, then L3 and an unassisted double play ends the inning.

That's the 3rd double play by the Husker defense today, including 2 off of line drives.

1-0 Nebraska, M5

That is 12-straight scoreless innings for the Maryland offense.

Leadoff single by Hallmark.
Henwood double off of a dropped liner to a diving Costes (lost it on impact on the ground) puts two runners in scoring position. Alert baserunning by Hallmark to allow Henwood to get to 2nd.
< Henwood's average is now over .200 >
2-RBI double plugging the LC gap by Klenke

3-0 Nebraska, B5 0 out

Pitchers are warming in the Maryland bullpen.

Nebraska's 9-hole hitters are 6/9 so far this weekend.

Full-count Hagge single to CF puts runners on the corners
Schreiber K swinging
RBI SF by Wilkening scores Klenke and moves Hagge to 2nd

4-0 Nebraska, B5 2 out

1-out HBP, then almost a 4th DP (would have been the 3rd via lineout).
Costes P7

4-0 Nebraska, M6

6.0 IP is Warren's longest start as a Husker. Twice this season he has gone 5.2 IP. 18 March was the last time Warren went more than 5.0 IP.

13 consecutive scoreless innings by NU pitching.

1-out Altavilla 4-pitch walk, then caught stealing
2-out Hallmark 4-pitch walk on the very next pitch
< How many times this season have we been caught stealing and on the very next pitch either earned a hit or drawn a walk? >
Henwood doubles off the top of the RF wall, Hallmark advances to 3rd.
Klenke F8 ends the inning

4-0 Nebraska, E6

That caught stealing was huge, essentially took 2 runs off the board.

Leadoff single by Biondic
2-out walk puts runners on 1st and 2nd as Ben McLaughlin mentions he had not yet given up a walk today.

Tillotson relieves Warren (6.2 IP, 5 H, 1 BB, 4 K, 25 BF, 66 pitches/43 strikes)

2-out error by the Maryland 3B puts Wilkening on second
Roskam K swinging

4-0 Nebraska, E7

That error was the first since Friday. There were no errors in yesterday's 25-run game.

Leadoff single by Bednar
2-out single by Dunn over Henwood moves Bednar to 2nd.
Roskam's indecision on a Costes FC gets no one out and loads the bases.

Hohensee (30 pitches yesterday) to relieve Tillotson.

Roskam redeems himself by snagging a liner and diving to tag 3rd base before Bednar returns!

4th DP of the day, 3rd off of a lineout.

4-0 Nebraska, M8

And a little help. Michigan State and Rutgers have tiebreakers over us.

I'm not worried about tiebreakers, we've played two less games than Rutgers and one less than Michigan State. I think 4-2 gets it done, as I see Michigan State (2-4), Maryland (3-3), and Rutgers (2-4) struggling down the stretch.

Now as for the odds of NU winning consecutive series against Indiana and Illinois...
