Maybe they're using the same process that was used in The Thing.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not really too interested in hearing a 2-3 team talking about all this "find out who we are" or "find out who's one of us." STFU and play better football. This isn't a war for the soul of the world, it's just tackle football. Stop being so serious.

It would be nice to see more than just this. What was the context of these words? Was there a question asked that led to this comment? Someone asked what he meant by this. Is there a video that provides more on this?

What does that mean? Still some poison in the lockerroom??
It means who is going to be pissed off and come out this week with a chip on their shoulder looking to redeem themselves and who is going to blow it off or use it to move on to another program. As he said he saw a lot of guys that were completely fine coming out Sunday and practicing in full pads and had some things to get out of their system. Meaning all is fine and well. There could be a couple here or there that will end up leaving. For the most part, if you listened to the entire interview, all is well and this team wants to win. They need to switch their mentality from wanting to win to expecting to win and go out and execute. Not be scared to screw up. Just play. Rhule has said it time and time again. People are too busy criticizing to pay attention. The want to is there. The give a damn is there. The proper staff and training is there. It just takes time to turn a program around. There has to be some patience with this process.

Yeah, I think it’s mostly a reference to quitters who are gonna give up after the rough start to the season, or guys who understand what it means to be committed and play hard through adversity.
You’re not gonna be a winner if you don’t know how to respond properly to losing.

The never quit attitude is important.

Yeah…
This is why I hate the press and press conferences. I absolutely HATE the post game locker room show on the radio, hate when Im driving and its on. What does anyone expect players to say? A lot of “um….like….i mean….you know…”and then a bunch of empty generic statements and platitudes. The questions are always leading and generic. How anyone wastes their time watching, listening to, or going to any of these player press conferences is beyond me. You literally learn nothing, and they mean very little of what they say. They simply say what they think they are supposed to.
Media nerds are strange people.

I agree Singleton is special but Sanford is damned fast.
He could be our next JoJo and that's not a joke. He's never been given a chance to play when the game matters. He has the size and has blazing speed and happens to be the hardest hitter in that secondary and that's no joke. Singleton lays the wood but still doesn't hit as hard as Phalen.

How could you have confidence in him? We’ve not seen him in the role we need him to fill now. Only one way to find out but I think he’s stood out on special teams.
He’s been on the field on D and seems to not play to his actual speed. I hope I’m proved wrong. We need to recruit recruit recruit

I hope he does well, but have zero confidence in him.
It doesn't matter what we think whatsoever because we have no say so and never will for good reason. It only matters what the coaches think period as there are no experts on this board period and HS coaches don't count as they are nowhere in the same league as college and it's not even close.
