    I'm thinking the same, anytime a great offense like Washington has runs up against a solid defense like Michigan's D it usually ends with the defense on top. Hope I'm wrong but I don't see any way the Washington QB having a good game against that D of Michigan.

    The offense next year?

    Hopefully if the option is kept as part of the offense HH will get better in the decision making process of when and why to option the ball to the trailing back. If he does get full command of the proper read each play it will result in a lot of unnecessary hits he is currently taking.

    OL Appreciation thread...

    Considering that the Purdue D is primarily a 5 - 2 - 4 this line did an extraordinarily good job of what they were being asked to do today. Certainly they will need to improve as with the rest of the players positions on offense but they did everyone proud today.

    A heck of a foundation is getting put in place to build upon though. Also take into consideration all the adjustments the coaching staff and players have had to go through while dealing with the numerous injuries on the offensive side of the ball.

    I predicted an 8+ point win in the game prediction thread and I see no reason at this point it will become a nailbiter for Nebraska. Have faith, the necessary adjustments will be made and the Cornhuskers will put this game away by the 4th quarter.

    I think it's going to go Nebraska's way in a big way to the tune of 45 - 17. I think the offensive players haven't been able to feel loose enough to just go out and play which will be quite different on Friday.

    Is Rhule keeping Simms as the starting QB if he keeps being a one dimensional turnover machine. Rhule, like every other head coach will likely be to stubborn to bench Simms until at least several possible losses and maybe not even then. Other posters have talked about the lack of support Simms...
