MN vs BW again for the title

Go back and read what I wrote. I said I would be floored if he was one and done. You responded prepared to be floored while citing a dude that redshirted. What am I missing or are you cut and pasting certain parts of this discussion? For the record, I would be equally floored if Sallis...

MN vs BW again for the title

Patton redshirted man. You consider that one and done to sound right I suppose. I don’t think Sallis will be a productive guard in his first year. Guess I should temper that until I see where he goes.

MN vs BW again for the title

That’s the same tired argument we’ve seen for two years. It’s all about measurables here. If Chucky was 6’3” or 6’4” he would be a five star as well. Whoever watched that game saw that Chucky had his way with Sallis when matched up. Defensively Hep, shut him down. If you saw previous BW-MN...

    Millard North vs Bellevue West

I tend to agree. Anybody that watched the game saw the 28 points wasn’t anything special. Some points in garbage time. Chucky Hepburn has gotten the upper-hand each time (they were both par is Finals last year). With Sallis, I just don’t see the hype. His game is very nice, upside is good...

    WR’s

Late to chime in, but Warner should have sat on his route instead of continuing. AM made the right read seeing hi wide open and assuming he would sit; therefor, making the pass slightly behind. If he floated it may have been even further behind since warner continued his route.

....and in other news, the Lakers won the NBA title

The Jordan Era wasn’t basketball? Note that ended 23 years ago. Games are still the same standard 48 minutes. In fact, the shot clock only resets to 14 instead of 24 seconds on an offensive rebound and you have 8 seconds to get the ball past half court. Pace of play has been speed up...

....and in other news, the Lakers won the NBA title

For all the people talking about NBA ratings down, show me the previous stats when CFB, NFL, MLB games we’re on as the same time as the NBA playoffs. Ooof you can’t. You know when COVID started in March and everybody was feeling sports deprived. That was NBA and hockey season with some golfs...

    OT - pretty moving

Eliminating net neutrality is a good thing. WTH????

    Key Johnson

Quote me where I called the young man anything. But to answer your question, no. My beef is completely with Sr. Actually I hope Jr. is allowed to go where he wants to and preferably it's NU.

    Key Johnson

Has nothing to do with Jr., but everything Sr. has to say being the helicopter dad he is. "My kid isn't coming here if Riley isn't here" First let your kid start to become a man, and like I posted nobody really gives two s*** what one kid does when it comes to the future of the program...

    Key Johnson

Uh oh, stop having the staff pack boxes. Jr. isn't coming back if Riley is fired per dad. Honestly nobody asked or frankly cares. Go chase Bieber in the Prius some more.

Presser from AD before the weekend is up.

Risky part with that assumption, is assuming that he’s working behind the scenes when a flat out announcement eliminates any speculation. Like I said you can say you’re moving on and still have Riley coach if he wants to. Saw Butch Jones was canned, and I don’t think anyone is aghast with...

Presser from AD before the weekend is up.

The worst thing Moos can do when asked about Riley is say he’s still evaluating. It makes people question his sincerity at that point. My opinion, say evaluation is done, and the y’re going a different direction now or at season’s end. Get that message out there today.

Why would Frost choose NU over Florida?

It's always mattered how Nebraska played. I'm not going to over-analyze a simple concept, but what's plagued NU throughout the years, including Bo's tenure, is that absolute butt kicking that showed NU has a very long way to go. Record is a stat, you can make it whatever you want. Reality...

What do you tell visitors this weekend?

I think you straight shoot with them. Let them know the AD search is ongoing, the culture is to compete and strive to win big, Riley is the coach, and don't make promises on his future. This is a big recruiting weekend, but none of these decisions are based on the possibility of getting...

    Let's bring it next saturday

Would also add that you need Wisconsin to lose 2. With that schedule, I think they have a real good chance of winning out, and we would have to match them. That's tough.

    Healthy Jones/Kalu and Jackson

Would take Bootle over both at this point.

    Let's bring it next saturday

Not really. Wisconsin has an extremely easy conference schedule. They might have one more tough opponent in Michigan and Iowa. NU will likely need a win versus OSU or PSU and take care of Iowa to have a chance at winning a tiebreak.

    Healthy Jones/Kalu and Jackson

So I'm not sure if it's scheme, but Jackson seems not to be the corner we expected him to be. I'm not f it's lining up like a safety trying to prevent the big play, but not sure he can play press coverage consistently well either. With that, I think Reed has to stay on the field, and Williams...

OT: Russel Westbrook is worth every penny.

I'm interested to hear the restructuring plan. On the surface, pretty much everybody is getting paid big money, and it will eventually create more parity, because a team will only be able to pay so many guys super max salaries. NBA is in a real good place and I love it
