    Lawyer getting involved, possibly...

    1) 3 replies to 2 posts of mine...and I'm the loser with nothing better to do? Okie dokie. 2) My long post had to do with people suing for damages from potential NFL earnings, or lack thereof because of no season. That's it. No one on this thread has mentioned suing for catching COVID except...

    Lawyer getting involved, possibly...

What does suing over catching COVID have to do with this? I never once mentioned that, nor did anyone else (at least no one I don't have on ignore) on this thread.

    Lawyer getting involved, possibly...

But for all any of the experts or us simpletons know, Joe Burrow ends up a bust (which I think is possible), while the kid from a Division II school that was drafted #253 plays 7 or 8 years. If a Danny Woodhead-type player was going to be a senior this year at a Chadron State-type school, how...

    Lawyer getting involved, possibly...

We all want to see the Huskers play, but I think you're reaching on this lawsuit thing. 1) Kids aren't "promised" 4 years to play football or any other sport. The NCAA grants 5 years to compete in 4 seasons, so long as said student-athlete meets eligibility requirements. They are not...

    Interesting Tweet Re-B1G Football

And where did I mention the Columbus Dispatch? Oh yeah....I didn't. For as much judging you do of others, your reading comprehension sucks.

    Interesting Tweet Re-B1G Football

Because I pointed out how it wasn't on the premier sports network in the US, or the two biggest newspaper websites in Nebraska means I don't want them to play, huh? Sorry....I'll try harder. This tweet has been splattered all over the state, from the Omaha World Herald to the Chadron Record to...

    Interesting Tweet Re-B1G Football

Not one mention of this on ESPN, Omaha World Herald, or Lincoln Journal Star websites.

Cancelling the season was the right decision

    No.....not awful.....just a post you didn't like.

Cancelling the season was the right decision

Yep...pretty easy to run off at the keyboard when you won't be on the hook, huh.....

Cancelling the season was the right decision

GBR! What does that have to do with my post? And...I've never said what was and wasn't the right decision. Time will tell. What I do know is that neither you nor I will be on the hook for it, so I'm not going to be too critical of it, aside from not being as transparent as the PAC 12 was.

Cancelling the season was the right decision

Washing your hands didn't cause anyone to lose their business. Wearing a mask didn't cause anyone to lose their business. Avoiding political rallies/ protests didn't cause anyone to lose their business. Staying 6' from strangers didn't cause anyone to lose their business. "Tell that to all...

Cancelling the season was the right decision

Far cry between staying in a bubble and doing 4 things that really aren't that hard to do.....and people act like they are. Yeah...there are risks with driving....but not as many as there would be if we have no speed limits, traffic laws, allowed drunk driving, and cars didn't have windshield...

Warren's son at Mississippi= playing football

About as often as you need your mom to read and explain this message board to you.

Cancelling the season was the right decision

    1) Unless you can illustrate how the B1G has had a history of consulting with parents before making decisions, I don't think it's realistic to say they should be now. 2) I think one can safely assume that the players want to play. With those things being said, I would agree that more...

And Here's the Justin Fields Petition to the B1G (over 250K supporters)

What would be stopping a school in the B1G from keeping its players in the protocol?

Cancelling the season was the right decision

What's stopping Nebraska from keeping their players in the same protocol?

This proves that it isn't as political as some believe.

Sometimes You Just Have to Let People Die

I brought that up because there are economic implications for a 16 year-old girl that is trying to decide on whether or not to have an abortion. By your rationale, she should be able to make that decision for herself, since it is an economic decision as well, and she is, to use your words...

Sometimes You Just Have to Let People Die

But we all know you and Kenny don't really care about all that other stuff; you just want to watch football. Tell you what....we'll reopen all the other stuff, but still not have football, or only have it with no fans or tailgating. You on board? And just so we're clear.....I don't know if...

Sometimes You Just Have to Let People Die

So...this is your roundabout way of telling us that you're pro-choice. Good to know. And...let's be honest....your main concern is watching football, not the economic plight of the Uber driver.
