Duval was supposed to be because people said from within it was fact. If you think nationally, there's unfortunately one just to the east that has the proven results.
You witnessed 5 national championship teams. If you're put to pasture tomorrow, you were blessed in that you witnessed better than 95% of other college football fans your age. Nobody cares of your pity party.
They don't go hand in hand.
Sit here andsay not Iowa, but allow time for a rebuild. The rebound in this league may end up being the success of Iowa in the long run.
The fan base doesn't deserve anything more than the Illinois fan base does. In fact, you could say 115 other programs 'deserve' more than Nebraska does.
B1G doesn't care what happened in the AAC or Pac 12. This league is stacked in terms of coaches & schemes. Throw the big $ at an elite D coordinator & watch it grow.
I just think it's funny having a highly abysmal season and then pointing at a neighbor, who has had more success for awhile now, to try and prove the desire to win championships. I'm sure that fan base would like that to be the end result as well , but one may be more of a realist than the other...
This is the most accurate, but I'll go two years more. He had it rolling pretty good after year 4. Would've bought a ton of time at many places. I'd say 10-20 programs would've axed him after 2014.
I just think he is more gutty in attacking downfield from what I've seen in his career and making something out of nothing.
Adrian was like that last year, but clearly something is off. I think Vedral presents a chance to win going away, imho.
Sorry, just a realist of how these last few weeks have felt. This one feels good for the home team. I'm just not optimistic after that abysmal performance against a pretty weak Patty Fitz team.
