    "Things start clicking for the Huskers"? They haven't been the same since they fired Solich because he only won 9 games a year. That win total =2018/2019 for Frost. Recruiting junior colleges tells me the program is a long ways from being competitive.

    Moral victories! Fans don't worry, or shouldn't worry, about how close a game was. The only question is did you win or lose. Huskers working on a five game losing streak against anyone is concerning for Nebraska fans. But hey..........those highly rated recruiting classes.:p

    It's clear Moos is feeling some heat for the lack of success under Frost. But as someone else stated... the AD needs to take the high road and not look like a thin skinned douche.

    After losing two underclassmen to the NFL last year on defense, it seems they reloaded pretty well. Iowa isn't losing to the Huskers in the near future.

    In Nebraska's situation, I don't think the staff can afford to turn ANY defensive players away. Just the way it is. At least the Huskers made the front page news on ESPN.

    As an outsider looking in... it's asking a lot to expect the 2019/2020 recruits to contribute right away on the OLine. A couple might, but that might be an unreasonable expectation. Some of the current guys just need to improve and develop. I imagine Frost knows by now that you win in the...

    Of course they do. Because bragging rights since arriving in the B1G don't exist. This forum is full of threads declaring how the Iowas/Purdues of the world don't belong in the same conversation in regards to football.

    Frost hitched his wagon to AM and AM has clearly regressed. Maybe there's more to the injury thing or maybe AM has become afraid of contact at this level. Running OOB at the end of the game tells me Martinez is mentally tuned out. The position should be up for grabs when it comes to planning...

    We'll see before too long, but Frost's comments smell like a HC refusing to accept responsibility for the results on the field. Plus... it's so much easier for kids to change programs than it used to be.

    With Frost's comments about the current roster... I'd say it's likely there could be multiple starters leaving town. Nebraska could be playing with 90% underclassmen next season.
