    April 18, 1996: Brook Berringer

The first video I just happened to stumble upon a couple months ago and was so glad I watched it. May be the best interview of an "outsider" getting to know Brook Berringer and sharing how great of an impact he had on him and others.

I just hope they all have fun.

Saturday, April 6th Nebraska vs. Ohio State (Huskers win 7-3)

NU went hitless through 4 and were in a 2-0 hole. Scored 6 in the 5th. Only used three pitchers on the weekend through two games (Sears, McConnaughey, Worthley). Tons of wind today, hats rolling around in the stands like tumbleweed.

Sunday, March 24th Nebraska vs. New Mexico State (Cancelled)

Agree. NMSU's 200+ RPI doesn't do us much favors in NCAA at large consideration assuming we are fortunate to continue our winning ways to be in such position.

Saturday, March 16th Nebraska vs. Nicholls (Huskers win 16-0)

Sutout aside, from the perspective of saving arms for Sunday after using a ton on Friday, Sears and Worthley did a great job. Really concerned after Sears's 30-pitch first inning.

Saturday, February 24th Nebraska at Grand Canyon (Huskers lose 7-5)

Some days you win, some days you lose, and some days it rains. I said that to a younger employee last week after Nebraseball blew two games in the 9th and got no reaction. So I gave him a list of recommended baseball movie viewing with Bull Durham at the top of the list. Here's the list I...

    Nash wrestling against Iowa?

Agree. I can't count the number of things my mom or dad took me that in retrospect they had zero interest in attending but still did it. I appreciate it a lot more now.

Okay, just try to not get your mogwai wet or feed it after midnight. They don't like light either.

I guess it's @Charlie Marlow 's fault Carl Crawford signed a pro baseball contract. Winking

    Two Months Away

Filling out a calendar for next year, just noticed the season opener is on Feb 16 vs. Baylor in Arlington. 62 days away, just under 9 weeks. Can't wait!

    NIL deals change fast

I remember Cinco Days when it was 5 soft tacos for $5 on the fifth of the month. Then it transformed into $5 off of 5 soft tacos and I was done, couldn't do it anymore... also now get off my lawn.

    Chubba

I think HH would be a good tight end with his height and athleticism. They tried it early, maybe with more practice reps, he can be a regular contributor there.

Eight SEC teams. And that's probably their goal: Join the SEC.

    Friends, Texas…

College hockey does it best with the PairWise system. Something similar should be adopted in the other sports. College hockey takes the the conference champions and then the highest remaining teams in the PairWise standings to fill out the 16-team field. Based on PairWise, those 16 teams are...
