He didn't redshirt Milton at UCF and played him as a true freshman. If Gebbia or POB are clearly the answer, I think he'd try to red shirt Martinez, but if there's one thing Frost has shown, it's that he's not afraid to play freshman.
I wasn't dissing Wisconsin. I think they're going to be a similar team next year as they were this year. They have a great defense and so does Michigan and are a very good team. At the same time, I don't think they're unbeatable as many on here seem to suggest. With the struggles they have...
There are plenty of supporters of Frost and many make positive comments about Frost but get crapped on because they didn't show that same support for Riley.
I'm a sports fan so I'll watch just about anything in the Olympics. A lot of the events are more entertaining than watching a baseball or basketball game.
I've watched curling for the past 2 or 3 Olympics and this is the first time I've acually understood what was going on. I now know most of the shots they're going to make before they take them.
That makes no sense that expectations should be higher with Frost coming in than it was with Riley coming in. The expectations I have for every coach are the same. I expect every coach we have to be a great coach and get the most out of his players. If not, that coach doesn't belong here.
I do see some posters trying to make excuses for Frost, but there is no need. I fully expect we get 10 wins next year. I'd be very surprised if we got less than 8.
I'm wondering why the same posters who were willing to give Riley 3+ years to bring in his system aren't willing to give Frost even 1 year to implement his system.
Now I don't believe in that crap, I expect to win right away. Just funny seeing how much butthurt the Riley backers still have...
That argument was mostly made by posters who hated Bo and thought Riley could come in and win 9 games easy. Turns out winning 9 or 10 games a year isn't a given and takes a lot of hard work and good coaching.
I think we have a good chance of beating both. Michigan struggled a lot on offense this year and Wisconsin had their struggles too. As long as Wisconsin has Hornibrook starting, I like our chances against them.
I think we'll go 10-2. We have a lot of talent on this team that hasn't been used to its potential. There's no way we go 4-8. Riley's not coaching here any longer..Winking
Why would you want other programs to poach our best assistants? I believe LSU poached one of our assistants under Pelini but I don't think it was a big loss.
