    Not at all insecure - I’m not comparing anything at Kansas to Lincoln. That would be pointless. I’m just saying that my memories of the stadium at KU are of Nebraska scoring at will and a run down place that smells like piss and cow shit. If your mileage varies, good for you.

    Place always reminded me of a barn in terms of appearance and smell. Hope they manage to keep that barnyard feel for the traditionalists.

    The lease with the Truman Sports Complex expires 31 January 2031. They have 7 years to get it worked out and I expect they will.

    I have followed this pretty closely, albeit from afar as I do not live anywhere near Kansas City. My belief is that this was a Royals driven move. The new owner wants to max his investment and a new stadium and entertainment deal worth $2B was his plan to do that. Royals could never get that...

    100% truth. Of course they would have gone for it. In the situation described, Andy would have had to gamble on either Mahomes getting a yard or his defense getting a stop. That defense is nails but NO WAY you take the ball out Mahomes hands there.

    The 49ers not scoring a touchdown deprived us of a scene where they come running onto the field to celebrate the win….only to be told “games not over.” Kind of a shame.
