    They didn't anticipate one team choosing not to reschedule as many games as they could. Should a team that went 8-0 win over a team that went 19-1? If the "rules" including trying to play all the games, then the "rules" weren't followed.

    Not as exciting as it looks. Illini out to a 10-0 lead after 3 and then it was excruciating watching the pitching staff issue 10 walks that allowed Iowa to chip away. They did get the tying run to the plate in the 9th and forced Hartleb to bring in the closer.

    Illinois' Relief Pitcher Tyler Jay

    Jay actually started a game earlier this year vs Lamar. They have no problem letting him go a couple of innings in relief if needed, he's too good to just limit to the closer role.
