    Agree on Thomas being the fastest of the group. Davis got a flier in the state meet 100 m in 87. He was a head case though which led to his issues post high school.

    Fan Day is as creepy as it gets. Most schools have gone to making it Kids Day and I wish NU would follow suit. Took my kids down years ago and watched grown adults have coaches and players sign everything under the sun. When some 30 some year old loser cut in front of my son I realized never again.

    We will need to show some patience with Riley or we will be doomed to relive the same rinse and repeat hire/fire of a coach. Not sure how many more of those most fans can take. Do we really want to have a new coach every 5-7 years until we find one that wins BIG quickly.

    I dont really expect Riley to win big at Nebraska but I could care less. He will not do anything to embarrass Nebraska like Pelini did. I think most fans can deal with not winning nine games per year as long as we do it with dignity.

    Matching up vs Cal State and Texas next week with be a true test of where this team stands. That did what they should do and win the series vs Michigan.

    Good Insight on the Defense

    Banker's defense will be light years ahead of Bo vs the run. No way they will be as stingy vs the pass but I would rather get beat by the pass than being run over time and time again.
