This is one rule I am in favor of. If you watched a lot of football over the last few years, you noticed this technique was being widely used. It also was the culprit behind loads of injuries that could have been avoided.
I would like Iowa to get involved with DK. Think he has a lot of talent and was a huge mistake by Frost to now wrap him up earlier. Although they already have a QB coming that is rated the same, I like DK a little better.
I agree with Raiola because of potential but not as much with McCord. He had a world of talent around him this year and played alright. 65% completion and 24TDS and 6INTs. A lot of QBs would be thrilled with those numbers but when you consider they had arguably to two top WRs in CFB and a top...
I'm an Iowa fan and I'm not pissed. If you don't change your offense, one or both of them will be hurt by the seventh game of the season anyway. McCord is not very good and Riola has the makings of a headcase with a helicopter dad. We will see how it ends up I guess but good luck to you.
Nebraska isn't as bad as their record. They blew arguably 2-4 games this year. I see it being a close game that could probably go either way. Some of it may depend on if Iowa plans to sit some of their starters.
Well, yes he was but you believe whatever you want. Are you implying that the defensive POY in the league and a sure 1st round draft pick was scared to guard Palmer? Come on man, you are better than that aren't you? Palmer is/was a good player, but you are being ridiculous.
It wasn't targeting imo. Just a collision under the chin and knocked him out. It was only a play or two into the game if I recall after Iowa had the ball first.
Sucks but injuries are part of the game.
Iowa has now lost arguably their four best players:
McNamera
Lachey
All
DeJean
We will see what kind of grit they got
