    Trev to Texas A&M?

Ross Bjork's base salary at Texas A&M was $1.5M. OSU will pay Bjork a $1.65M base salary and $350M in media/PR. This excludes any performance incentives.

OT: Best KO of all Time (Doesn't have to only be Boxing)

Marciano's crushing right hand that knocked Jersey Joe Walcott out cold to win the heavyweight title One of the hardest football hits occurred in the 1990 Hall of Fame Bowl game. OSU's Zach Dumas decleated an Auburn runing back on a little swing pass out of the backfield.

    OT: Best heavyweight boxers

Liston would be ranked higher if he had been given the opportunity to fight for the title in his prime. He was probably in his mid 30's, maybe older, when he lost to Ali. Underated boxer, with arguably the hardest jab in heavyweight history.

    2024 CFB Win Totals

I put $100 on OSU to win the NC at +500. Yes, I'm an OSU alum, but last August I made a similar bet on Michigan to win it all at +850.

Will Howard, former K-State QB Will Transfer To

Alabama center, Seth McLaughlin is visiting OSU this weekend. Not sure if he's an upgrade over Carson Hinzman who was held out of the Missouri game. Both had issues with the snap. I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up in Columbus. The bigger news is whether Day keeps OL coach Justin Frye. His...

No way!! Raiola N? OV this weekend

This message was posted on an OSU recruiting site from a staff member. Dylan tried to get back in at Ohio State. Ohio State said "thanks but no thanks" True story.

    OSU McCord

As an OSU fan living in Columbus, I wish McCord the best wherever he ends up. He had a very good year as a first year starter. My main issues with McCord was his inability to extend plays, locking in on one receiver (don't blame him looking for Harrison) and going through his progressions when...

    CJ Stroud is legit

Too bad Stroud couldn't have played with this year's OSU defense. I'll feel pretty good about winning it all.

    OT: Breeders Cup

Played a $5 exacta in the Juvenile Fillies 1,3,12/1,2,3,6,7,12. for $506. Mike Welsch, DRF clocker, did not think Tamara had been training well up to the race. I threw in the 2 based on comments from Matt Bernier.

    Ohio St offers Carlon Jones

There's a good chance OSU's entire starting D line will declare for the 2024 NFL draft. I could see 8-10 under classmen declare for the draft. OSU should be well under the 85 scholarship limit and have room to add more recruits in this class. I would think Nebraska has to be closer to filing the...

    OT: Breeders Cup

Ushba Tesoro will be on my exacta and trifecta tickets. He, like White Abarrio, is in career form.

    Ohio St offers Carlon Jones

He actually has a skin condition called rosacea.

    Ohio St offers Carlon Jones

OSU is also pursuing Amaris Williams, a current Florida commit, at DE. One of the recruiting analysts on an OSU site thinks Jones may end up at DT down the road.

    Ted Carter to OSU

I think Vrabel likes the NFL setup better. Doesn't have to worry about NIL and 24/7/365 recruiting whirlwind.

    Ted Carter to OSU

Starts January 1. Will have to hire a new AD with Gene Smith retiring June 30. Hopefully Les Wexner and Carter can get along. Living in Columbus the search was kept under wraps. I don't think the major news outlets knew when a decision was going to be made.

    RIP Jim Brown

Growing up in Ohio in the 60s, the Browns were on TV every Sunday. As great as Barry, OJ, Eric, Emmitt Walter were, Jim Brown was the greatest running back I ever saw. He could have played DE, LB on defense and TE on offense. Led the league in rushing 8 of the 9 years he played. One of a very...
