Bears ruin QBs. NFL Draft info

I think it is a deeper problem than the state of the roster. When teams are perpetually bad it is a usually a result of bad ownership. Just look at the revolving door of head coaches the Bears have had over the years. The Bears will have to prove to me that they are legit before I consider them...

Bears ruin QBs. NFL Draft info

I firmly believe Caleb Williams should pull an Elway or Eli Manning by declaring he will not go to Chicago. The Bears are a mess. I can't think of one quarterback other than maybe Jim McMahon who remained relevant for 5 or more years as the Bears starting quarterback. He will take a hit by...

    So want Iowa to lose

It is still too cool for shorts and bikinis. Our summit (just under 7000 feet) was 21 this morning. The base (4600 feet) was about 29. Here at the house (800 feet) it got into the low sixties again this afternoon. Snow was still good. Firm in places but no ice or slush.

    So want Iowa to lose

It was an awful call plus 45 for Iowa walked too many times to count. She can't keep her pivot foot in place to save her life.

    So want Iowa to lose

My wife's, mother, brother and his wife live in Cary a nice suburb of Raleigh. Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. I skied today, here at the home hill. Snow is still pretty good. Got to love spring skiing when it is still cool up on the hill and 63 degrees down at our house...

Chiefs fans vote down stadium tax that would have helped build a new stadium.

I think that is true for any city or state that has an income tax. I am betting when the Mariners (WA has no state income tax) play the Yankees at Yankee Stadium they must pay NYC and New York state income taxes. Just looked it up. New York state income tax is 4% to 10.9% with NYC income tax an...

Ok, I'll ask it, hoop insiders....

Something in the water when it comes to Aurora. It has always produced good athletes and their teams are well coached as well.

Ok, I'll ask it, hoop insiders....

Why did Fred not recruit Baylor Scheierman coming out of Aurora? He averaged 22 point per game in high school. I am betting he would have gone to Nebraska over South Dakota state.

    College Hoops Gambling Thread

My only misses of the teams that are in the Sweet 16 are Clemson, Purdue and NC State. I have UConn Vs Ariz and Houston vs Tenn with UConn taking it all against Houston.

NFL set to become flag football league?

I think they want defensive players to just bump offensive players real hard to knock them off their feet. How can you be an instinctive player if you have to think about technique as you make a tackle?

    OT: Clark Kellogg

Charles is too funny though. When he said he hoped North Carolina would lose because he hates Kenny was pretty funny. I don't mind Chuck or Clark. I am usually going after a beer or playing with the dogs when any of the panels are on. I've told my wife I think Ike and Watson, Zags big men, are...

Washington AD Troy Dannen is new AD

My younger brother follows his Huskies pretty close, but not as close as I follow the Huskers. Earlier this week I called him up immediately after reading it was probable Dannen was going to become the Husker AD. When telling him Nebraska had found their new AD, he replied with not much...

They got into Yale. Just might be a little smarter than the Husker team.
