    Desmond Fitzpatrick...

I think Fitz might not think he will see much playing time early in his college career if he comes to NU. We have one of the best WR groups in the country and I think he wants playing time right away. That along with some possible future WR's in 2017 Cool, he might not want to come to a school...

    Another Positive Tweet

I don't understand why they need to keep coming back for visits. What haven't they accomplished from the past visits? Unless this visit is to actually commit, but for some reason I find that hard to believe. With Darney being one of the highest ranking players of the 2017 class, and having...

    Desmond Fitzpatrick...

Go back and listen to Tony Butler on 1620 the zone earlier this week. He said that he has been in contact with Dez on a regular basis and says he is 95% committed to the Huskers. That should be encouraging.

    OT: Leasing a vehicle

To each their own and there is nothing wrong with that way of thinking with a little self control. I just think many people take it too far and want everything shinny and new and don't think about 30 years down the road. If we are talking extremes, I would rather be the person above that saves...

    OT: Leasing a vehicle

I guess I'm talking about how you can invest a lease payment in investments that go up in value and come out ahead in the long run. For me driving a new car 30 minutes a day isn't worth a $300-400 monthly payment.

    OT: Leasing a vehicle

not a good investment, just my 2 cents. I can find much better ways to spend $300-400 a month. In practical terms, it's much better to by an older car (even if it's only 4-5 years old) than to lease. If you want a "new" car every few years but always have a car payment than leasing is the way...

OT: Omaha residents and water issues

http://www.ilovemywater.com/Lincoln-and-Omaha,-NE/LocID20/landing.aspx Got mine from this company and haven't had any issues. Very good quality unit. We got the low salt unit and refill it every 4 months or so - if that. I know they have sales a couple times of the year, got ours almost 75%...

OT: Omaha residents and water issues

Oh and you can get your water tested for less than $10. Or just call culligan and they will do it for free, you would just have to sit through a selling pitch.

OT: Omaha residents and water issues

We live in west omaha and put in a water softener due to hard water when we bought our house a few years ago. Our house was built in the early 2000s and you could tell there was built up in various places. I tested our water when e first moved in and it was very hard water coming straight from...

    ESPN Bubble Bursting? Interesting Article

I have cut my cell phone bill down to $40 a month for 2 cell phones and a house phone. We use Ting (best cell phone company by far) and Ooma for a home phone (which is free other than $4 a month in taxes). Paying $40 a month for 3 phones is the only reason I keep a $70 cable bill around -- and...
