North Dakota Bisons get Mcdonalds at white house

This could be an alternative "pertinent part" to the article, also: "Obama has taken the traditional visits of champions and put them to work. As part of his United We Serve campaign, every team that comes to the White House engages in a service project. The Pittsburgh Steelers, for instance...

    Disagreement over Navy Seal consultation?

To expand upon these thoughts, the OWH article is at best just an example of misfunction within the program. A major P5 basketball program with our resource availability doesn't fail at a consistent rate like ours on only one data point. At the 10,000 foot view, I'd imagine a CEO would see...

Loudest games you ever attended at Memorial

OU '78 is #2, CU '92 is #1. Even though that game was a destruction of CU from start to finish, we never, ever, ever stopped screaming. We were SO hateful of CU at that time.

    The Moos “Desk Drawer”

Honestly, at this point we need to hire a toxic, proven cheater who can get us to the NCAA and win a game, get some notoriety, and then be fired in a shocking scandal. Following 1 year of postseason ban, we could maybe build upon that success. This basketball program is cursed.

    Tomorrow.....

You're letting the early signing period fool your perceptions a bit. Be as happy tomorrow as you were in December. Our future is stupid, crazy, megawatt bright.

Why is the NFL allowed to be socialist?

Your well thought out words, logic, and arguments are lost against the power of the "bootstraps" mentality. As Americans we've been brainwashed and indoctrinated against our own self interest, fostering decades of wealth inequality. Many years ago I started an off season post about wealth...

Why is the NFL allowed to be socialist?

I know a lot of "good Americans" also. Some of them are the best of friends, and we hardly agree on any political topics. I suspect you don't, and that's really a shame. I'd urge you to seek out those with different viewpoints and engage them in meaningful dial.....oh, what am I saying...

You only think you're kidding. The anti-liberal sentiment on this board is overwhelming at times.

    George HW Bush

So you reject what Mwulf posted because....something about MSNBC and the Guardian? This is why we are so divided. It's common knowledge that Trump seized on the birther conspiracy, refused to initially condemn the white supremacists in Charlottesville, and announced his candidacy by announcing...

It's time for an 8 team playoff

Yeah, I get it. I think I just am Alabama'd out. I wonder if this is how folks felt about Nebraska (or Florida State) in the 90's.

It's time for an 8 team playoff

This is all absolutely correct. However, the elephant in the room (for me) is that this season has been, well, boring. The 4 team playoff is giving us nearly the same 4 teams every damn time. I understand that's not the fault of the system, to be sure. But what College Football needs now...

Northwestern the new Powerhouse of the Big 10 West?

Northwestern fans and alumni should be thrilled with their coach. He's built a respectable program that is fundamentally sound, and wins more often than naught. That being said, expecting a program with the limitations Northwestern has in place to be a perennial division winner is hubris. If...

    Spread/RPO Offense. Easier to learn?

Was discussing the plethora of freshman QBs, like Martinez, that seem to be able to come into college and have immediate success. For those of us in our 50s, we are aware that true freshman almost never saw the field as QBs in the past. There are many ideas as to why, such as: More kids...

“Iowa’s a bigger, stronger football team,” Frost said.

This year I thought 5 and 7. It was even worse. Next year I feel confident we will see 8-9 wins. The rumor was Tommie Frazier told Warren Sapp "It's not where I've been, it's where I'm going" or something to that effect. That's how we should all feel about the team's direction. If you...

    Recruiting gurus...

Even your current, climate science rejecting government thinks your opinion is incorrect: https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2018/11/24/government-report-paints-grim-future-from-climate-change/ I used a link from Breitbart, because, well, I wanted you to be comfortable it wasn't "fake news"...

    Recruiting gurus...

So, I agree that we need recruiting at it's highest level possible to win a natty. That must be married with coaching and player development. My question for the above analysis would be: Does Alabama's prevalence and consistent 1 ranking skew our conclusions into a self fulfilling prophecy?
