    No one around here has been able to determine why Woods got thrown out. He got chippy with the home plate umpire when he rung him up on strike three. Guessing he said something on his way to the dugout that got him tossed.

    Not having the Gophers even in the tournament has to be a huge hit to the attendance numbers. The group over at Hawkeye Report was talking about the 2017 tournament. Rumored to be out east......possibly at Yankee Stadium. Not sure that attendance there would be to great. Like you Husker...
