    OT: Tom Brady GOAT Status

Brady is the greatest of all time, it's not even discussion. Brady vs. anybody is farther apart than the MJ vs Lebron debate. So really, any argument is silly and it's just people being contrarian. The money issue is a little different, his wife makes more than he does I think, so he's in a...

    OT: Tom Brady GOAT Status

Lol, someone up above tried to use the argument that brady didn't win the super bowl in 13 seasons as evidence he isn't the greatest? hahahaha

    OT- Bitcoin

yep, and it'll eventually end badly. Lots of things like this have been tried, including tulips.

    OT- Bitcoin

Yep, inflation risk is way less than the risk you open yourself up to with cybercurrency. Plenty of things to throw your money in if you want to grow, but the question was about store of wealth.

    OT- Bitcoin

Store of wealth would be very low risk: t-bonds, cd, savings account, etc. If I was investing it would be in a fund/etc of some sort. If I wanted to be real aggressive it would be individual stocks, option trading, etc. I'd put bitcoin at about the level of option trading but maybe a little...

    OT- Bitcoin

How can it be a good store of wealth if it goes down in value? Those two statements are at odds with each other.

Bill Callahan maybe the best O'line coach ever

He would have been accepted had he won. Just like anybody else. Failure to win gets you sent out of town.

Much too early look at next years depth chart

Never seen a guy leave in an ambulance and walk back in to the stadium, though. That was weird.

    Mario

Lol, Lubick is looking around? At who? Diane? Frost "saved" him from working at a credit union, teams clearly weren't beating down his door.

    Blowout incoming

How did we end up here? We hired THE guy that everyone wanted. This is just so mind boggling.

    Anybody else surprised...

I'm sure Fidone could have committed to Iowa State if he wanted. Or Teddy to Kansas.

    Anybody else surprised...

no question. we also haven't been recruiting at as high of a level as ratings might indicate.

    Anybody else surprised...

Well, that's not true either, you went extreme in the other direction.

    Anybody else surprised...

I'm aware how the recruiting game works, and how offers get tossed out and when they are or aren't actually committable. It was a little bit of hyperbole, but it's not crazy if you sit down and look at the commitment lists over the last 9-10 years and evaluate who did what, who stayed, and who...

    Anybody else surprised...

So we got one guy that other people wanted? You're making my point for me.

    Anybody else surprised...

Yeah, one guy. And was that Bama offer actually committable?

    Anybody else surprised...

Its a slight exaggeration, but you know what I mean. Does it seem weird to you that a lot of top recruits never end up flashing the way we think? Doesn't it ever make you wonder if our "top" recruits, weren't really wanted by other places? The pieces start adding up if you look at about the last...

    Anybody else surprised...

I don't think most of our commits were that wanted by many other P5 schools. Even with losing, if I had to pick Doane or Nebraska I'd take that Nebraska offer.
