I think you’re taking that view to an extreme and I believe in his heart that he knows what the problem is. I expect Satt is going to be allowed to seek a new opportunity after the season. 😉

Sarr’s problem no doubt isn’t that he doesn’t know the X’s and O’s It’s that he can’t apply what he knows.

I listened to a former NFL coach explain why coordinators who get fired kept getting hired by other teams. He said that calling defenses and offensive plays is a very specific skill that few coaches can handle so even if a guy gets canned his experience as a play caller is going to land him a new gig.

Every game left on the schedule is winnable. Raiola needs to throw the damn ball. THROW THE DAMN BALL. Forget your stats as they are already in the tank. Throw the ball to your receivers and give them a chance to make a play. #17 is a good guy to look for when in doubt.

This reaction has been building since last fall. Our offens most notably our QB play was inexcusably bad last year. His play calling against IU and now UCLA was excruciating and not fair to our freshman QB.

Yeah our QBs sucked last year and we’re starting a freshman this year but Satt clearly isn’t getting it done. I’ve posted before that I don’t think Satt is fixable. That said, you have to let Rhule try to fix the situation. We’ll see if he can get Satt to adjust or if he decides to can him this winter.

I didn’t get that drift at all from what he said. He clearly stated that 18 points isn’t good enough and that what’s wrong is being examined. Every company or academic institution I’ve seen bring in outside consultants did it as a prelude to heads rolling.

It’s not going to happen. We’re pot committed. Nor would I want us to clean house. There are some good things he’s doing but he either needs to can Satt or take ownership of the offense. He said repeatedly that 18 points isn’t good enough. We need to give him a chance to fix it.

Maybe it's a way for him to go to his coaches and say, hey I've had someone else look at it and I've got to fire you.

Essentially he's giving himself an excuse to fire his friends so he can maybe keep his friends.

People like to bag on "Coach Prime", but he fired all of his coordinators after last year, and got rid of over 30 players...and they have been showing improvement this year. He doesn't put up with mediocrity.

Colorado is tied for 2nd place in the Big 12 right now….they can make the championship game. Win that and they are in the playoffs!! You can say that right now CU is getting the slightest sniff of the playoffs. Yes it helps they moved to the Big 12 which is a shell of what it was before but the point stands.
