Monday, March 14th: Nebraska vs Omaha - (Huskers win 6-5)

Once Anderson scored. The game was over. Everett didn't have to have double.

They didn't throw home and Everitt was damn near to 2B before the OF even got to the ball after it hit up against the fence.

It was a double and the scorer hates Griff.

Per MLB rules:

MLB Rule 7.01(g)(3), “If the home team scores the winning run in its half of the ninth inning (or its half of an extra inning after a tie), the game ends immediately when the winning run is scored.”

(f) Subject to the provisions of 10.07 (g), when the batter ends a game with a safe hit which drives in as many runs as are necessary to put his team in the lead, he shall be credited with only as many bases on his hit as are advanced by the runner who scores the winning run, and then only if the batter runs out his hit for as many bases as are advanced by the runner who scores the winning run.

Griff should be awarded a 2B. The only situation that overrules the above is a HR.
