(R) 1B Schreiber
(L) 3B Headley
(L) DH Miller
(R) SS Placzek
(L) CF Darby
(R) RF Meyers
LHP Kubat (4-5)

#5 MICHIGAN STATE (33-22)
(L) LF Gibson
(L) 1B Krill
(R) 3B Weist
(R) DH B. Salter
(R) SS Richardson
(S) RF Hughes
(R) C Roskelly
(L) CF Cheky
(S) 2B Young
LHP Kinley (4-3)

Clear skies, consistent wind blowing from LF to RF, stiffest wind condition of the tournament so far.

Kubat warming up in outfield along the RF wall rather than in the bullpen.

Huskers wearing their all grays today, Spartans wearing all whites.

Boldt walking around slowly with a trainer in pregame. Wonder if his ankle is still bothering him from the shot he took on the foul ball on the first pitch of yesterday's game. EDIT: Darby starting in CF in place of Boldt.

Winner advances to face the loser of today's 9pm game between #1 Illinois (46-6-1) and #4 Maryland (37-22) at 7:30pm tomorrow (BTN).
Loser is eliminated.

All games have gone chalk thus far in the tournament, let's break that streak!

Not on tv???
Correct, only online with BTN Plus.

I think someone posted last week about how the TV coverage contract was signed a couple years ago before the league expanded the tournament from 6 teams to 8 teams. Would have had to mod the contract at a pretty penny to add 2 more games each to Days 1 and 2 of the tourney.

My tablet overheated in the top of the 2nd, so I apologize for any inaccuracies and for delay in reporting.

Haven't see Christiansen in the lineup for a week or so. His bat cool off and losing playing time? Or is it a match up thing?

Probably a match-up thing but your guess is as good as anyone's. Believe Schreiber has earned the start though at this point, especially after yesterday.

thanks man. this work stuff is really getting in the way. Off at 3, so I can listen on the radio on the ride home

I'm here until 5pm, normally would call off but a ton going on at work so stuck here I am. Which is why I was hoping for that win yesterday so I could watch the game!

Kubat going deep would be a perfect scenario for us. We would have quite a few options out of the pen if we can just keep the offense going and use a few weaker arms after Kubat goes about 7-8 innings.
