seeing it all over college football today after the Eagles mastered it last year

have to imagine Rhule/Satt have it installed for short yardage situations

can't think of a single reason why we wouldn't

About 10 years ago I was coaching a Freshman game. The ****ing team we played ran the "wedge" sneak which is just the rugby sneak you see today.

They ran it about 8 plays in a row, covering about 60 yards and a TD.

It was unreal.

sadly, the answer to this question after game 1 appears to be 'No'

we should've run the rugby scrum QB sneak 4 straight plays every time we got inside the minn 10 yard line

would've resulted in 3 TDs instead of ZERO

Wasn’t it our first play from scrimmage of 2023?

Agreed - should have done it in scoring position too.

I just went and watched - I thought the tailback was pushing him from the start - but he didn’t come up until the end when sims was already stopped.
Same qb sneak teams have been running since the ‘70s

We didn’t seem to have much of an identity last night

Play calling was all over the map

Rumors of SoCar wanting Satt out of town now don’t seem all that unfounded

revisiting this

we might have an elite QB sneak guy at the moment with or without the tush push

worth monitoring

that play is a serious weapon and I'm not sure we've been stopped running it yet

been a lot time since 3rd & 1/4th & 1 were high probability downs for us

This play only works when you have a real O-line to run it and a real O-Line coach to coach it. All we'd do is false start or fumble the damn ball away. Smh.
