Man, Mike Riley sure makes it hard to defend him.

Is that the case? Or did he say that he wants to play or transfer?

    Who said he was better?

Great response. I don't give a shit about Bo, but keep using that argument while defending our average coach. Incompetence should not be defended because he's Nebraska's coach. I don't need to find a new team, I want mine to be worth a shit sometime soon. Maybe then we won't blow games...

Eight games? Umm, no. You redshirt kids that can't play as a true freshman. At Nebraska you do, that's the model that helped us win titles in the past.

They've said he'd be playing as a kick returner. Not at RB. RiLLLey is showing his average coaching ability. Too bad he's not still at Oregon State where no one cares.

I know he hasn't played the first 5 games of the year. Pulling his RS now is very irresponsible and poor roster management. Especially when you have plenty of RBs and kick returners.

Jordan Stephenson (sp?) will see the field this year

I was agreeing with you. Why pull Stevenson's RS when you have DPE and MANY others to return kicks. It's idiotic and poor roster management. If you start folding to the threats of players you are toast.

    Jason Peter on current times

I'd say 4-8 or 5-7. It must be because of that system virus and not coaching.

Well, I guess DPE isn't good enough to return kicks so we need to pull a RS in GAME 6 of the season. That is terrible scholarship management.

Jordan Stephenson (sp?) will see the field this year

Hey man, who is this DPE guy? He's probably not very good. Let's have an 18 year old return kickoff and/or punts because he wants to.

No, wrong. Player development doesn't work that way. Do we play every player that threatens to transfer. Pretty weak leadership there.

Jordan Stephenson (sp?) will see the field this year

I am behind the team but won't sit and blindly support an average coach that can't even run out a clock with less than a minute to go. That is pee wee football level coaching. Until he improves and is nothing other than average I will continue to question his decisions. There are plenty of...

Jordan Stephenson (sp?) will see the field this year

He looked pretty good in the Spring game and against BYU. Even the reporters at practice in the a Fall said he looked like the top runner. Fantasy team, LMAO. Tell us how smart RiLLLey is to play his guys.

Why play a perfectly capable back like Wilbon when you can show how smart you are by burning Stevenson's redshirt? I guess Wilbon's pass blocking isn't good enough to return kicks. Or, they want to play "their" guys from the first recruiting class.

He's too big of a meanie for Harvey's taste. Plus, hiring him may result in the football program being successful.

We were told this staff cannot manage the game...

They are average coaches, the numbers don't lie.

Listen folks...kids behave better than this.

Wrong, our AD said we should be competing for and winning championships. We won 9 games last year, there is no reason to go 4-8 or 5-7, which we will. It's what happens when you hire an average coach.

Bigger embarrassment: Losing to U of I or Letting RB run for 400 yrds?

Going 4-8 or 5-7 will be very embarrassing. Too be expected when you hire an average nice guy.

    Pelini communicated with Ruud

I heard he was the shooter on the grassy knoll and yelled "fire" in a theatre once. Everything is his fault and has nothing to do with the average guy RiLLLey.
