    Why having conference champions if it doesn't count toward the playoff? I think all power 5 conference champions should make it to the playoff. And add 3 mid major champions to make it to 8. In this case UCF would have been in the playoff.

    The Difference in Pro Style Wisconsin and Nebraska Offenses

    Not trying to defend Riley here, but often time NU fell behind really early like the Oregon game . They would have to pass a lot to be able to play catch. I think the fact of the matter is NU running backs were ineffective whereas NU has a very good group of receivers.

    Nebraska's Shrinking Offensive Line

    BTW. Not ALL NU OL were Nebraskan, although they were the majority. We had great OLs from Texas. Jake Young, Aaron Graham, Aaron Taylor, Brandon Stai (CA) But developing home grown OL is very important such as Rimmington, Traynowiczs, Wiegart, Grimminger, Wilts and many more.
