All Local Nebraska Basketball Team Hypothetical

Uh, you’d either have to be a fool or his father to take Sam Hoiberg over Jasen Green.

Rhule just wants you to know what's going on

The NCAA has lost several lawsuits regarding player compensation, which is why the system is the way that it is now. The NCAA is unlikely to try anything else that regulates player compensation as a result (and would probably lose in the courts if they do). The only entity that can regulate NIL...

Deion Sanders on CSU: "They messed around and made it personal"

Deion just got his whole team his designer sunglasses. Like him or not, he’s a marketing genius. Every high schooler in the country now wants a pair and his players just got an expensive gift. What Deion is successfully doing is making it look like fun to be at Colorado. That will have a huge...

We just lost to a better team

Because Rhule has a history of sticking around a long time, right?

    How are you surprised ?

Looks like he whiffed on a whole lot more than QB. There aren't any playmakers. More importantly though, you missed the point. It shouldn't take years to build a team any more. Get quality transfers and be competitive from day 1.

    How are you surprised ?

This is the portal era where kids don't have to sit out if they transfer and can receive NIL money. A good coach could and should be able to turn over the roster much quicker. Things have changed.

It's time for an 8 team playoff

The only reason for a CCG is $$$$. If Northwestern beats OSU, does anyone really believe Northwestern was better? CCG's were created solely to make conferences more money. The reason that a conference championship was a determining factor in getting the auto bowl tie-in back in the day was...

Baylor coach proposal would help NU

Actually, the last 10 games has not been a selection committee criterion for about 5 years. This is not the first year... It was actually removed for two reasons: 1) unbalanced schedules brought about by superconferences; 2) some felt that it gave an unfair advantage to mid majors who may have...

Baylor coach proposal would help NU

Arizona St is one of only 2 teams in the entire country that beat two #1 seeds in the NCAA tourney. Further, they didn't even get either of those two wins at home; one was on the road at Allen Fieldhouse, with the other against Xavier at a neutral site. You don't need metrics to be able to...

Uconn's ban in FB & MBB, NU's gain?

I don't see any evidence that Miles is being "slow and selective". He's out there attending the AAU events, making scholarship offers and lining up visits, just like every other coach. Unfortunately, the high schoolers he is offering just don't seem to be interested.

Uconn's ban in FB & MBB, NU's gain?

To be complete, one should probably add that he hasn't included nebraska in his top schools either. I'm not really sure what you are arguing about here. Whether one finishes 2nd or 102nd in the Agau sweepstakes, the results are the same -- he ain't coming. If you want to get into a battle...

Uconn's ban in FB & MBB, NU's gain?

From everything I've heard, Nebraska doesn't have much of a shot either.
